CDN Enhancements

We are pleased to announce enhancements made to the WAF-as-a-Service management portal for CDN features:

CDN Domain Verification

If your DNS zone is hosted with WAF-as-a-Service, we will now automatically create the TXT records in DNS to complete the CDN domain verification process.

CDN Bring Your Own Certificate (BYOC)

You can now provide your own certificate for use with CDN instead of using the certificates that are automatically generated by the CDN service.

CDN Wildcard Endpoints

Previously you could only use the CDN with Fully Qualified Domain Names (FQDNs). For most customers, this is not an issue, but if your licensing level permits applications to have wildcard domains for the endpoints, these can now be used with the CDN.

As an example, if the license level permits it *.barracuda.com can be defined as the endpoint and that would mean that all subdomains of barracuda.com will match the endpoint;

  • barracuda.com

  • www.barracuda.com

  • de.baracuda.com

  • fr.barracuda.com

While these would not match because they belong to a different domain;

  • barracuda.co.jp

  • www.barracuda.co.jp
