For the version 12.1 datapath, we have deployed an enhanced ability to test connectivity from the WAF-as-a-Service Datapath to the backend application server(s) that you define in the SERVERS page by clicking on a Test Connectivity button:

This will start a series of tests from each Datapath node in the applications redundant cluster:

The high-level results will be displayed under the server(s) upon completion of the tests:

The network tests show if the TCP port defined for the backend server is open and responding. The Application tests show if a HTTP request to the URL / is responding. You can also expand the high-level results to show the results for each individual Datapath in the applications redundant cluster:

With this new feature, it is now much easier to troubleshoot connectivity issues to the backend application server(s) but as always, we welcome feedback so please let us know how you get on!
