We are pleased to announce that Shared IP addressing has now been deployed. All new applications will now use a Shared IP address by default.

If your account is licenced with a Application Protection Premium plan or your legacy licence is configured with Isolated Mode, you can edit the address to change it to Dedicated IP if you have a use case that requires this.

Changing an application from a Shared IP address to Dedicated IP address will transparently roll out to the infrastructure with no downtime to your application traffic.

As previously announced, existing applications will be migrated over the coming weeks.

Note that the following existing applications will not be modified and the above does not apply to them:

• Applications on the Application Protection Premium plan.

• Applications in accounts configured in Isolated Mode (only for customers who purchased WAF-as-a-Service before April 2023).
